Robinhood seeks a strategic Head of Data Science for Finance & Strategy to lead a high-performing team of data scientists and analytics engineers. You will set technical direction, partner with Finance, Product, Engineering, and Operations, and translate complex business questions into actionable insights that drive faster, more predictive decision-making.

You will oversee measurement, benchmarking, and AI-enabled analytics, building scalable data solutions while ensuring strong business

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data science, analytics, or related fields
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Strong SQL, Python, and statistical analysis skills
• Ability to translate complex questions into rigorous analyses
• Experience with measurement frameworks and benchmarking
• Business-minded with cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent communication and leadership of high-performing teams

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data scientists and analytics engineers; stay hands-on and ship real work
• Foster technical excellence, business judgment, experimentation, and accountability
• Lead end-to-end NPS program design, sampling, weighting, driver analysis, and executive reporting
• Oversee survey and research portfolio including safety perception and brand sentiment
• Build durable shared infrastructure so analyses can be delegated to agents
• Drive both data science and analytics engineering components (measurement, modeling, pipelines)
• Partner with Finance, Product, Engineering, Operations and leadership to translate questions into scalable analytics
• Represent Finance & Strategy Data Science in leadership forums and shape data/AI strategy
