DoorDash is seeking an Associate for the US Marketplace Finance & Strategy team to manage the financial performance of the business. You will own P&L reporting, planning, and investment management, translating performance into clear leadership narratives to support data-driven decisions.

Collaborate with strategy, operations, product, analytics, and finance; this role requires judgment, adaptability, and the ability to influence partners at all levels in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking in a high-growth technology sector.
• Experience working on cross-functional projects and influencing partners at all levels.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling to size opportunities and build business cases.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze key financial performance drivers, uncover trends, and be a trusted source of truth for reporting, forecasting, and planning.
• Turn complex financial and operational inputs into clear, leadership-ready narratives with actionable recommendations.
• Partner with teams across the company to identify gaps to our goals and propose solutions to close them.
• Help leadership decide where to invest by evaluating requests and ensuring approved investments are reflected in plans.
• Support long-range planning and company forecasting, including analytical approaches to balance growth and profitability over time.
• Improve, automate, and scale reporting and planning processes in a fast-paced environment.
