Job summary

Vermeer is seeking a First Shift finance professional to provide transactional support within our financial shared services area. You will learn new software and handle various financial transactions in a HYBRID work setting.

You will cross-train across warranty, invoicing, accounts payable, and other finance teams, drive process improvements, and assist internal and external customers with financial processes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field with a minimum of three years of related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to process transactions with speed and accuracy.
• Ability to retain training and knowledge for multiple functional areas.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Are you the type of person who can consistently meet deadlines and provide excellent customer service? In this role you will provide transactional support to our financial shared services areas. We’re looking for a person that is comfortable learning new software and different types of financial transactions.

What You’ll Do

• 1. Cross train on different systems, processes and standard work used by warranty, invoicing, accounts payable, corporate accounts or other finance teams.
• 2. Plan and implement process improvements and special projects; may collaborate cross functionally with dealers, customers and various groups or individuals at multiple levels within the organization.
• 3. Research, identify and resolve internal and external inquiries.
• 4. Educate and provide guidance to internal and external customers related to financial processes.

What We’re Looking For

• - Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field with a minimum of three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• - Ability to process transactions with a high degree of speed and accuracy.
• - Ability to retain training and knowledge for multiple functional areas.

Travel

No travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

HYBRID: Some of a team member’s day-to-day work may be best done at a location other than a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager.
