Andersen is seeking a Finance Senior Associate in New York with deep expertise in general ledger accounting, intercompany processes, and the U.S. GAAP close.

You will support consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities and ensure balance sheet integrity through detailed reconciliations. The role requires 3+ years of experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks/Dynamo.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• 3+ years' work experience in US GAAP financial reporting and general ledger.
• Experience with month-end/quarter-end close, intercompany accounting, and consolidation.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Dynamo.

Responsabilidades

• Own and maintain general ledger integrity, ensuring accurate coding, classification, and reconciliation of financial transactions.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, accruals, etc.
• Prepare and review journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage intercompany accounting processes including due-to/due-from balances, reconciliations, and coordination of elimination entries for consolidated financial statements.
• Support consolidation activities across multiple entities ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial reporting.
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances in a timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of key accounts including accruals, prepaid expenses, and intercompany balances.
• Assist with partnership accounting processes including various payment types.
• Assist in preparation of audit schedules during audit cycles.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting support during close cycles and special projects.
