• Define and govern the Global Chart of Accounts framework, driving standardization across entities.
• Lead the discovery, selection, and implementation of the consolidation system.
• Act as a liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and senior stakeholders.

A rapidly growing specialty finance company, established in 2017, is seeking an Associate Director for Financial Reporting & Consolidation to lead their finance team in New York City. The role involves managing financial reporting in a dynamic, deal-driven environment with a focus on structured finance transactions.

Job Responsibilities

• Own the consolidation process across all legal entities, including intercompany eliminations and multi-currency reporting.
• Oversee preparation and sign-off of external financial statements and internal management reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting requests from senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Define and govern the Global Chart of Accounts framework, driving standardization across entities.
• Lead the discovery, selection, and implementation of the consolidation system.
• Participate in the development of accounting and reporting procedures for new products and business initiatives.
• Support the enhancement of the firm’s management reporting using technology solutions.
• Act as a key liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in financial reporting, consolidations, or public accounting.
• Expert-level US GAAP technical knowledge; IFRS exposure is a strong plus.

Compensation

Salary: $150,000 - $225,000, Plus Bonus
