Referment is seeking a senior associate for its management reporting team within Financial Operations, working closely with senior leadership. You will translate imperfect data into clear, executive-ready analyses and help strengthen the team's analytical capability and use of technology.

The role focuses on compensation, business economics, and strategic commercial questions, with opportunities to lead generative AI initiatives and broader process improvements.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years' experience in management-company finance, compensation consulting, or internal strategy within a large alternative asset manager.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field; an advanced degree is useful but not essential.
• Strong commercial judgment and experience producing sound analysis from incomplete data.
• Exceptional executive communication skills and a record of influencing senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders on bespoke analysis relating to compensation, business economics, and strategic commercial questions.
• Frame ambiguous problems, structure rigorous analysis, and interpret results in a form that supports decisions.
• Present concise findings and new perspectives to senior audiences.
• Identify gaps in the team's analytical approach and help expand its ability to address emerging needs.
• Lead initiatives involving generative AI, process improvement, automation, and technology adoption.
