PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Under the direction of the Deputy Finance Director/Deputy Treasurer, the Senior Account Technician is responsible for the daily collection and reconciliation of funds owed to the City and the accurate, timely administration of payroll and employee benefits. This role involves a wide range of routine and complex clerical, financial, and customer service duties. The position plays a key role in property tax administration, special assessments, payroll, and financial recordkeeping, and serves as a primary backup for designated duties in the department.
