Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Director of Finance Transformation to lead the SAP S/4HANA Finance program. You will shape roadmaps, drive standardization, and deliver end-to-end finance process simplification across I2C, P2P, R2R, Treasury and Tax.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
15+ years of experience in global technology, finance process transformation, ERP transformation, or enterprise application leadership roles.
10+ years of deep SAP S/4HANA Finance experience, including large-scale implementation, deployment, integration, or platform leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Define the strategic roadmap for Finance SAP S/4HANA transacting platform.
Provide technology leadership on SAP S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance, APM, VIM, Treasury, Tax, I2C, P2P, R2R, and related finance systems.
Translate finance strategies into scalable technology capabilities and prioritize releases, deployments, and run-state priorities.
Identify investments, gaps, dependencies, risks, and value opportunities across the finance technology portfolio.
Lead end-to-end design and integration of finance processes within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring holistic transaction flows, master data, controls, and reporting results.
Drive process standardization, simplification, and reduction of customizations by leveraging SAP capabilities.
Ensure finance processes have strong controls, audit readiness, SOX compliance, and data integrity.
Partner with Finance process owners to modernize high-volume transactional processes (invoice processing, payment execution, cash application, intercompany, close, reconciliations).
Create the roadmap for simplifying, standardizing, and automating core finance transacting processes with clear business value.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve exception handling across close, reconciliations, and cash processes.
Partner with AI, data, architecture, security, and governance teams to ensure compliant, secure automation solutions.
Evaluate SAP-native capabilities and AI tools to enable scalable value over time.
Lead execution of the Finance S/4 transformation roadmap across global deployments and releases.
Own delivery plans, resources, testing, cutover readiness, risk mitigation, and value realization.
Drive SDLC governance, release management, and vendor performance management.
Proactively identify blockers and escalate cross-functional issues with teams.
Provide leadership across finance architecture, data, and integrations for SAP S/4F, ensuring secure, scalable connections.
Ensure integrations with boundary systems and AI-enabled services are secure and resilient.
