Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. offers a 2.5‑year rotational program in Finance and Accounting. You will extract data from financial systems, perform analyses, and support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning across multiple plants and functions.

You’ll rotate every 6 months with mentorship from senior leaders and peers, gaining exposure to cost centers, treasury, tax, and internal controls as you prepare for future roles within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance completed by January 2027.
• Knowledge of basic Finance and Accounting concepts.
• Ability to adapt to new rotational roles every 6 months.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision‑making ability.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze and interpret information from diverse sources.
• Ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines.
• Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
• Preferred languages encouraged.
• Relevant internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from financial systems and perform analyses to explain variances in performance.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasts or strategic plans with timely inputs.
• Summarize data for management review and investigate variances.
• Support treasury activities including cash management and reconciliations.
• Participate in leadership development and rotation assignments.
• Complete at least one rotation in a JCI plant outside Milwaukee, WI.
