Job summary

Guardian is offering a 10-week paid Summer Internship in Bethlehem, PA, starting May 27, 2027, through August 6, 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in Finance and Risk, supporting monthly closes, journal entries, and financial analysis while interacting with senior leaders.

We seek juniors graduating May 2028 who are curious, adaptable, and eager to explore multiple areas of the organization. Housing is not provided, and eligibility requires work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an attention to details
• An interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk and a willingness to learn about different functions and career paths across the organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Support Guardian's financial integrity by monitoring and reviewing administration system processing, including the review of system generated accounting
• Support the monthly financial close by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for Guardian's Individual Markets business
• Prepare in-depth financial analysis to support various internal customers with the Finance & Risk organization
• Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career
