Job summary

Guardian invites applications for a 10-week paid Summer Internship in New York, offering hands-on experience in Finance and Risk. Interns will engage with daily business interactions, complete project work, and interact with senior leaders, while gaining practical knowledge of Guardian’s products and services.

The program runs May 27, 2027 through August 6, 2027, with a rolling application process and a potential pathway to the Finance Leadership Development Program upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a finance/accounting-related degree
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Interest in multiple areas of Finance and Risk across the organization

Responsibilities

• Assist in Compensation & Benefits related journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Assist in various Position Management functions including updating position status and reconciliations
• Assist in preparations for reports, work papers, provisions and reconciliations
• Learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization
• Learn Guardian’s purpose, values, and product/service offerings
• Build a network with other interns and colleagues across the business
• Think critically about data, facts, and information
