Job summary

Guardian is offering a paid 10-week Summer Internship in New York City. You will assist with quarterly financial statements, create reports and reconciliations, and support audit/compliance processes while learning from leaders across the organization.

We seek juniors with curiosity and strong Excel/data analysis skills who want exposure to multiple finance areas. Housing is not provided; applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in finance and accounting principles.
• Interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk across the organization.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of quarterly financial statements.
• Assist in preparation of various reports, exhibits, schedules and reconciliations.
• Support the audit and compliance process and maintaining process documentation.
• Have the opportunity to work with leaders and mentors across the organization to develop professionally.
• Learn Guardian’s purpose, values, and suite of products and services.
• Build a network with fellow interns and colleagues across the business.
