Guardian Life Insurance is offering a 2027 Summer Intern position in Corporate Finance & Risk in New York, NY. This is a paid 10-week program designed to immerse you in the daily environment of a leading financial services company.

As a current junior with an expected May 2028 graduation, you will assist with quarterly financial statements, support audits, and work with mentors across the finance organization while learning Guardian’s purpose and product offerings. Housing not provided.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in finance and accounting principles.
• Analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of quarterly financial statements.
• Assist in preparation of various reports, exhibits, schedules and reconciliations.
• Support the audit and compliance process and maintaining process documentation.
• Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career.
• Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings.
