Job summary

Guardian Life seeks a 2027 Summer Intern in Corporate Finance & Risk - Compensation & Benefits FP&A for 10 weeks in New York, NY. The program is paid; you will work on journal entries, reconciliations, reporting, and position management with mentors and senior leaders.

Open to current juniors graduating May 2028, you will learn across finance areas, gain exposure to processes, and build a network across Guardian offices while contributing to real projects.

Qualifications

• Interest in multiple finance and risk areas and willingness to learn across functions.
• Comfort with finance and accounting principles.
• Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compensation & benefits journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Support position management tasks including status updates and system reconciliations.
• Contribute to reports, work papers, provisions and reconciliations.
