Job summary

Guardian Life Insurance Company of America invites motivated undergraduates to join a 10-week paid internship in New York, supporting Corporate Finance & Risk, FP&A and Management Reporting. You will analyze monthly and quarterly results, build financial models, and present insights to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Business or related field
• Interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk and a willingness to learn about different functions and career paths across the organization
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, provide insights on performance relative to plan and strategic objectives
• Conduct peer benchmarking and competitive analysis to support management decision-making and strategic planning
• Support forecasting, annual planning, and rating agency reporting through financial modeling, analysis, and presentation development
• Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career
