Job summary

Equitable is seeking motivated Summer 2027 Interns to join the Financial Risk team, contributing to risk management, reporting, and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate across Actuarial, Treasury, Hedging, and Investment teams, delivering insights and presentations to leadership.

This internship offers a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in the office, opportunities to work on AI-enabled tools, and mentorship from senior team members in a dynamic, client-focused firm.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior in undergraduate/graduate program.
• Finance, Mathematical, Statistics, Economics, Risk, or Business background.
• Basic knowledge of financial instruments and models.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to work independently while receiving guidance and mentorship from senior team members.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Actuarial, Treasury, Hedging, and Investment teams on key projects and initiatives that advance business and capital objectives.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting activities to help meet team priorities and business needs.
• Participate in projects related to risk management, stress testing, and business strategy.
• Deliver a presentation summarizing key findings and recommendations to Risk senior leadership.
• Explore innovative solutions and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to drive efficiency and enhance team capabilities.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative discussions.
