Job summary

Equitable in New York, NY invites rising juniors and seniors to join our Summer 2027 Internship in the Financial Risk team. This hybrid program combines in-office collaboration 2–3 days a week with remote work, offering hands-on projects, data‑driven analysis and mentorship from senior leaders.

You'll partner with actuarial, treasury and investment teams, support monthly reporting, assist with risk management initiatives and present findings to Risk leadership.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior in undergraduate/graduate program.
• Finance, Mathematical, Statistics, Economics, Risk, or Business background.
• Basic knowledge of financial instruments and models.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to work independently while receiving guidance and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Actuarial, Treasury, Hedging, and Investment teams on key projects.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting activities.
• Participate in projects related to risk management, stress testing, and business strategy.
• Deliver a presentation summarizing key findings and recommendations to Risk senior leadership.
• Explore AI-enabled tools to drive efficiency and enhance team capabilities.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions.
