Job summary

Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking a Paralegal to support the Finance & Restructuring team in our Phoenix or Salt Lake City offices. You will work with attorneys and clients on a variety of matters, requiring strong organization, client service, and communication.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or paralegal program completion and at least one year of related experience, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or completion of a paralegal program.
• At least one year of related experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical ability, very good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in office 50% of the work week, increasing to at least 80% of the work week starting January 4, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assemble closing books.
• Order UCC/lien searches and prepare summaries of results.
• Prepare and file UCC financing statements on subject entities.
• Prepare simple bankruptcy and other documents.
• Draft correspondence of a limited nature.
• Obtain documents from state agencies.
• Maintain files, assemble information and prepare materials for attorney.
• May be requested to perform other duties not listed above.
