Job summary

Snell & Wilmer is seeking a Paralegal Assistant to support the Commercial Finance group in the Salt Lake City office. The role focuses on preparing, organizing, and filing documents for finance transactions, due diligence, and closing activities.

You will work with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure timely completion of matters, maintain file integrity, and handle document management with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree and ABA-accredited paralegal certificate preferred.
• Experience in transactional, corporate, real estate, banking, or similar practice preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, maintain, and electronically file documents related to commercial finance transactions.
• Assist attorneys and paralegals with preparation, assembly, and distribution of loan and financing documents.
• Assist with gathering, organizing, and reviewing due diligence materials.
• Coordinate and prepare materials for closings, including checklists and signature pages.
• Proofread documents for accuracy, formatting, and compliance with firm standards.
• Maintain electronic and physical files and track deadlines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with attorneys, clients, lenders, borrowers, and other parties.
• Assist with gathering information from public records and databases as needed.
