Columbia University in the City of New York is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting to support internal and external reporting for the Dental Clinic, manage financial closes and reconciliations, and analyze financial results. This role will liaise between the CUIMC Controller’s Office and the Dental School on accounting activities to ensure the integrity of the quarterly financial statements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance with at least five years of financial management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to explain complex financial information.
• Advanced MS Excel, Word, and enterprise financial systems; experience with PeopleSoft preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily accounting operations and monthly close for the Dental Clinic with reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly GAAP financial statement analysis and variance reports for leadership.
• Analyze patient care revenue by payor.
• Assist with annual financial statement audits and cost report preparation.
• Liaise with University tax department for annual 990.
• Develop internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
