Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst for its Finance Reporting COE in Covington, KY. You will help develop reporting and analytics that support senior leaders, collaborating with various finance teams to transform data into actionable insights.

You will translate large datasets into digital tools, create governance and presentations, and deliver daily to monthly reports, supporting decision-making and continuous improvement across Fidelity’s finance function.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or technical-related fields is required.
• Minimum 1 year in your current role.
• Strong interest in financial analysis, technology, and business intelligence software.
• Experience in sourcing and translating large datasets into digital tools and meeting materials.
• Preferred: Experience in creating digital reporting and analytics deliverables using data visualization tools (Power BI, SQL, etc.).
• Ability to tell a compelling story through data visualization software and presentations.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to associates at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and month-end reports, evaluating variances to periods, budgets, and forecasts.
• Deliver interactive, value-added digital solutions and consult with business partners.
• Provide reporting and analytics to Fidelity leaders and other stakeholders.
• Assist teammates in the COE and Line Finance partners with ad hoc analyses.
• Ensure proper controls, documentation, and reviews to mitigate risk.
• Provide visibility into key metrics and trends for decision making.
