Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking a Data & Visual Insights Analyst to join the Reporting and Analytics team. The role focuses on maintaining reports, building dashboards, and ensuring data quality to inform operational and financial decisions.

You will work in a flexible hybrid setup, with location shifts between Toronto and Mississauga as Fidelity updates its offices. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in data analytics and strong BI tool experience.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant analytical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Reporting, BI or Finance Analytics.
• Experience with data, spreadsheets, reports, or dashboards.
• Exposure to SQL, BI tools, or reporting systems is an asset.
• Experience analyzing data and communicating findings through reports or presentations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
• Produce recurring operational, financial, and management reporting packages.
• Administer reporting processes and ensure on-schedule delivery.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify trends and exceptions.
• Assist with report enhancements based on stakeholder requirements.
• Coordinate reporting activities and schedules across business areas.
• Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and visual reports.
• Support dashboard development and reporting projects with senior analysts.
• Validate data accuracy and maintain reporting datasets across systems.
• Write and maintain basic queries to retrieve data for dashboards and reports.
• Assist with reporting automation and data optimization initiatives.
• Provide training and support to end users on reporting tools.
