Job summary

UAB is seeking a staff member to provide technical financial support for an assigned university unit. The role reviews requests to determine appropriateness with regard to institutional requirements, proper authorization, and conformance with regulations.

You will assist with maintenance and reconciliation of budgets and accounts, review requisitions, and order equipment and supplies. You will collect financial information and provide reports and analyses as needed, and assist in day-to-day

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience required. Work experience may substitute for education.
• Preferred: experience in university purchasing or other industry purchasing departments.
• Good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical financial support for an assigned university unit and reconcile budgets and accounts.
