Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Financial Affairs Associate III to provide technical financial support for an assigned University unit. You will review requests for compliance with institutional requirements, assist with budget and account reconciliation, review requisitions, and help order equipment and supplies.

You will collect financial information and provide reports and analyses as needed, and assist in the day-to-day needs of the University Purchasing Program (P-Card). Shift: Day/1st Shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
• Preferred: Experience in university purchasing or in other industry purchasing departments
• Good customer service skills
