Job summary

A federal services provider in Rockville, MD is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to oversee financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of supervisory experience and expert knowledge of Finance Systems, including SAS. Strong communication and management skills are essential. Overview

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to provide oversight of financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative. Employment Type: Full-Time, Experienced. Department: Project Management.

Base pay range

$74,741.33/yr - $96,096.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing workflows in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services
• Perform and oversee financial and procurement services
• Maintain frequent contact with Government Case Managers and DOJ staff
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed
• Oversee a small team of financial analysts
• Perform active quality assurance to deliver high-quality work on time
• Train staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases

Qualifications

• At least four years of progressively responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems
• Proven communication skills to interact with clients and attorneys
• Ability to manage multiple complex, time-critical activities
• Expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS; strong writing and oral communication skills; and strong management skills
• Knowledge of the Government\'s data processing environment (office automation networks, PC-based databases, internet and server-based applications)
• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
• Undergraduate degree required; Law Degree desirable
