Job summary

CGS is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to provide oversight of financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative.

The role requires supervisory experience in financial systems, strong communication with government staff, and the ability to manage time-critical activities while ensuring compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Four years of supervisory/management experience in financial systems.
• Proven capabilities and communication skills to interact with clients and attorneys.
• Ability to manage numerous complex and time‑critical activities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the Government's data processing environment and related applications.
• U.S. Citizen and eligible for Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing workflows in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services.
• Perform and oversee financial / procurement services.
• Frequently contact Government Case Managers and other DOJ agency staff.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed.
• Oversee a small team of financial analysts.
• Perform an active quality assurance role to ensure high quality work delivered on time.
• Train staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases.

Qualifications

• At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems.
• Proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
• Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time‑critical support activities simultaneously.
• Expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS, outstanding writing skills, excellent oral communication skills, and excellent management skills.
• Knowledge of the Government's data processing environment, including office automation networks, PC‑based databases and other applications, and internet and server‑based databases and other applications.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Undergraduate degree.
• Law Degree desirable.
