Job summary

A federal service company in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to oversee financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and communication skills, with a background in financial systems. Overview

CGS is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to provide oversight of financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative.

Base pay range

$74,741.33/yr - $96,096.00/yr

Employment Type: Full-Time, Experienced

Department: Project Management

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing workflows (in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services)
• Perform and oversee financial and procurement services
• Maintain frequent contact with Government Case Managers and other DOJ agency staff
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed
• Oversee a small team of financial analysts
• Perform active quality assurance to ensure high quality work delivered on time
• Train staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases

Qualifications

• At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems
• Proven communication skills to interact with clients and attorneys
• Ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical support activities simultaneously
• Expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS; strong writing and oral communication skills; and strong management skills
• Knowledge of the Government's data processing environment (office automation networks, PC-based databases, internet and server-based databases)
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
• Must have an undergraduate degree; Law Degree desirable
