Overview

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to provide oversight of financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative.

Base pay range
$74,741.33/yr - $96,096.00/yr

Employment Type: Full-Time, Experienced

Department: Project Management

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing workflows in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services.
• Perform and oversee financial and procurements services.
• Coordinate with Government Case Managers and other DOJ agency staff.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed.
• Oversee a small team of financial analysts.
• Perform an active quality assurance role to ensure high-quality work delivered on time.
• Train staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases.

Qualifications

• At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems.
• Proven communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
• Ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical support activities simultaneously.
• Expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS; outstanding writing skills; excellent oral communication skills; and strong management skills.
• Knowledge of Government data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and internet/server-based databases.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Must have an undergraduate degree; Law Degree desirable.
