The Finance Project Controller is responsible for ensuring proper project information and correct accounting for revenue recognition across the Arcadis project portfolio. Good business acumen, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of risk management and accounting principles related to revenue and cost recognition are essential. This is a business-facing role where the job holder interacts regularly with commercial operations in a finance business partner capacity (challenge and build) and adds value to commercial decision-making. The Project Controller is a highly visible role, requiring comfort working across all levels of the business, including senior management.

Role accountabilities:

1. Project oversight and monitoring in integrated project management software.
2. Coordinate with project managers/directors and clients on all aspects of invoicing projects, ensuring timely billings.
3. Maintain and update project reporting information using Power BI tools.
4. Monitor receivables, follow up on collections, and update Collections Module to forecast invoicing and collection dates.
5. Be flexible and able to multi-task, as deliverable requirements can change rapidly.
6. Participate in monthly project reviews to ensure accurate financial reporting and understand key concerns of the project delivery team (e.g., contract finalization, work delivery, resourcing, client communication, variations, amendments, OH&S concerns).
7. Perform other duties as required by your manager or Arcadis.
8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant accounting degree.
• Post-graduate qualifications (CPA/CA/CIMA) are an advantage.
• Technical, commercial, and delivery acumen.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, internally and externally.
• Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.

The salary range for this position is $57,786 - $77,048, with actual salaries varying based on experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
