Publix Super Markets is seeking a Finance Project Accountant to provide accounting, consulting, reporting and process improvement support for strategic initiatives. You will help optimize ROI and scale corporate accounting operations through data-driven insights.

The role requires 2 years of corporate accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office and BI tools. Located in a corporate finance environment with opportunities to impact major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years’ experience in Corporate Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and general business practices.
• Knowledge of Business Analysis and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of strategic initiatives by providing accounting expertise and coordinating project activities.
• Design and execute test plans to validate system functionality, data integrity and performance.
• Evaluate processes and systems to identify improvements that boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Plan and manage projects from initiation to implementation with timelines and resources.
