Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Finance Project Accountant to provide accounting, consulting, reporting and process improvement support for strategic initiatives. You will help optimize ROI and scale corporate accounting operations through data-driven insights.

The role requires 2 years of corporate accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office and BI tools. Located in a corporate finance environment with opportunities to impact major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years’ experience in Corporate Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and general business practices.
• Knowledge of Business Analysis and data modeling.

Responsibilities Include

Required Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Internal Controls and SOX regulations
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Knowledge of Alteryx for data preparation, blending, analysis, and workflow automation
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visio for creating process flows, system diagrams, and business process models
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
• Knowledge of SAP/BW

Year End Bonus

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
