Job summary

Asurion in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Finance Business Program Manager to lead cross-functional Finance initiatives delivering systems and process improvements. You will partner with Finance, Technology, Product, and external vendors to align scope, schedule, and outcomes while maintaining governance and clear executive communications.

The role requires strong delivery discipline, stakeholder management, and ability to navigate ambiguity across global teams.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in technology, business management, accounting, financial analysis, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
• 4+ years equivalent Project &/or Portfolio Management experience
• Experience in the Finance/Accounting industry (credit, banking, insurance, etc.) preferred
• Ability to quickly assimilate new business and technical concepts is required
• Proven track record in successfully delivering complex projects.
• Team leadership and global project experience is preferred (working with business units in multiple time zones throughout the lifecycle of project)
• Experienced with Software Development Life Cycle in all phases; Agile environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as Notion, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
• Able to effectively present information & respond to questions from groups
• Strong analytical, integrative and problem solving skills; critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and drive work forward with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Finance initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Define requirements with Finance, Technology, Product, and vendors.
• Develop integrated project plans, timelines, dependencies.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies; resolve cross-functional issues.
• Maintain governance docs and provide status updates to executives.
• Support UAT, deployment activities, and post-production stabilization.
