Job summary

Asurion seeks a Sr Data Analyst Programmer to explore large datasets, build reports and dashboards, and support Supply Chain Finance/Accounting decisions. You will design the Finance information architecture with data security, integrity, and performance in mind, working across enterprise data platforms and AI-assisted tooling.

You’ll collaborate with business partners, write complex SQL, and publish Power BI solutions while keeping pace with new Microsoft updates and best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: 4-year college degree in a related field (CS, Math, Finance/Accounting, Analytics or IT)
• Experience: 4+ years in data analysis or BI
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power Stack (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) or equivalents
• Strong SQL skills across multiple dialects and large data environments
• Ability to model data, build SQL queries, and deliver clear reporting outputs

Responsibilities

• Model, develop, and publish Power BI reports, flows, and SSRS reports
• Maintain and sharpen reporting tools with updates from Microsoft
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver within timelines
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve insights
• Communicate analytical results to sponsors and senior leaders
• Maintain knowledge of Asurion applications and data systems
• Provide strong organizational, presentation, and financial acumen
