Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an entry-level Finance Program Cost Controls Analyst to support the AIM-9X Development and Integration Finance team. The role trains in EVMS, EAC, and monthly close using Rplan, forProject, SAP/APEX, and BI tools.

On-site work with a DoD Secret clearance after day one is required. Responsibilities include cost reporting, earned value support, and contract financial deliverables across a dynamic program portfolio.

Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Math or related field or equivalent experience.
Understanding of basic financial principles including forecasting and budgeting.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Provide financial support to program teams including working with weekly cost reports, supporting earned value management execution, developing periodic estimates at complete (EACs), and supporting contractual financial deliverables.
Provide support to a broad portfolio of contracts across development, platform integration, and international projects. This can include project setup activities, contract execution support, as well as proper project closure tasks. In this role, you will be subjected to the full program life cycle for contract financial support.
Various other ad-hoc requests as needed to support both the program team as well as the broader program finance team.
