Job summary

Raytheon Technologies seeks a finance professional to perform weekly and monthly earned value analyses, update EV metrics, and manage EACs for operations. The role involves overseeing labor and cash forecasts, presenting variance analyses, and delivering quantitative insights to support program decisions.

Required are advanced degrees or university level education with extensive experience, EVMS/PMI credentials, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Advanced degree in related field with minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience with APEX/SAP Managed Programs finance.
• Experience in program cost schedule and control environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• EVMS certification or equivalent.
• PMI certification.
• Ability to apply and interpret Raytheon policies and procedures.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Experience presenting to leadership and managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly financial analysis to schedule, budget, and EAC positions.
• Update EV metrics monthly including customer reportable EV deliverables.
• Handle quarterly EACs for Operations including data inputs, updates, and variance analysis.
• Oversee weekly/monthly labor and cash forecasts and document variances.
• Provide timely quantitative analysis to support business, program, and project decisions.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed weekly financial analysis to Schedule, Budget, and EAC positions.
• Perform monthly updates to Operations Earned Value metrics including customer reportable Earned Value deliverables.
• Responsible for quarterly EACs for Operations including but not limited to EAC inputs from Value Stream Finance, EAC updates in APEX, EAC presentation, EAC variance analysis and EAC R&O analysis.
• Responsible for weekly and monthly oversight of Operations labor and cash forecasts monitoring actual costs, and documenting variances to plan and forecasts.
• Top candidates will provide the organizations they support with timely and thorough quantitative analysis that supports business, program, and project decision making.

Requirements

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
• An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
• Experience with APEX/SAP Managed Programs finance
• Experience in program cost schedule and control environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• R6Sigma / CORE Specialist or familiarity with Six Sigma / CORE processes
• Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification or equivalent
• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
• Ability to apply, interpret, and provide financial leadership on Raytheon Policies and Procedures
• Self-starter highly motivated with a positive "can do" attitude
• Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills required
