Job summary

Grant Thornton LLP seeks a Finance Transformation Manager to lead business process analysis, remediation requirements, and cost/cycle-time improvements for client engagements. From day one, you’ll collaborate with our Transformation Practice to redesign finance and operations, implementing sustainable models that meet business needs.

This role emphasizes governance and performance improvement across finance functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of work-related consulting or finance experience.
• Industry recognized professional certification required.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
• Experience with Close-the-books, COA, Treasury, FP&A and benchmarking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop client-focused solutions across strategy, operations and management.
• Perform engagement management: reviews, delegation, scheduling, finances, quality and client management.
• Leverage consulting and industry experience to help clients achieve long-term goals.
• Analyze issues, design effective solutions and drive improvements.
• Support business development: proposals, capture, whitepapers and thought leadership.
• Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work.
• Collaborate with client management and staff at all levels.
• Work with managers and partners to identify and resolve problems.
• Mentor staff on projects and support year-end reviews.
• Meet or exceed billed hours targets.
