Job summary

Grant Thornton (US) is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to lead business process analysis, requirements definition, and remediation efforts across finance and operations. You will collaborate with our Transformation Practice to design and implement sustainable models that optimize processes and reporting, aligning with client business needs.

From day one, you’ll drive change management, engage with senior leaders, and mentor staff while meeting billing targets and contributing to growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of work-related consulting or finance experience
• Industry-recognized professional certification required
• Strong analytical skills and ability to develop business cases
• Process analysis, Reporting & BI, Data Analysis & Reconciliation
• Working knowledge of close-the-books, COA, treasury, FP&A & benchmarking
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Willingness to travel up to 30%

Responsibilities

• Develop client-focused solutions across strategy, operations, and management in multiple corporate functions
• Perform engagement management: reviews, delegation, scheduling, financials, quality, and client management
• Leverage consulting and industry experience to help clients achieve long-term goals
• Analyze and design effective solutions to varied client issues
• Lead business development activities: proposals, capture, whitepapers, conferences
• Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work
• Maintain strong client relationships with management and staff
• Collaborate with managers and partners to resolve client issues
• Coach and mentor staff; conduct performance reviews
• Achieve targeted billing hours (utilization)
• Handle other duties as assigned
