Job summary

Medline is seeking a Finance Process Improvement Manager in Chicago to lead cross‑functional initiatives across PTP, OTC, RTR and Plan to Perform. You will analyze, design, and optimize end‑to‑end finance processes, with a focus on standardization and operational excellence, supporting SAP upgrades and broader digital transformation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, process improvement, or related role.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross‑functional teams.
• In‑depth understanding of financial operations and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize simplification opportunities by engaging process owners.
• Analyze real time data to set baselines and success factors.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and design improvements.
• Drive process simplification, improvement, and automation.
• Document current and future state processes and communication plans.
• Act as project manager from charter to execution with quality outputs.
• Develop strategies to simplify financial processes and increase efficiency.
• Coordinate with the finance PMO to manage change and adoption of new processes.
• Promote continuous improvement of financial processes.
