Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Manager, Process Optimization in Lake Forest, IL to drive data-driven improvements across finance planning systems (Oracle EPBCS) and related processes. This hybrid role requires two onsite days weekly with flexibility to work from Chicago.

You will partner with Finance, Analytics and IT to build models, dashboards, and ROI analyses that inform strategic decisions and boost financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Information Systems.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading planning teams and managing multiple projects.
• Experience implementing Oracle technologies and system implementations.
• Experience using data/metrics to measure program performance and report to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the Enterprise Portfolio Management planning platform (Oracle EPBCS) configuration and data management.
• Establish governance, processes, training resources, and user documentation.
• Coordinate readiness across workforce, capital, project, and financial planning modules.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning, reporting, and forecasting tools.
• Partner with Analytics, Automation, Finance, and Accounting to define data and reporting needs.
• Develop financial models, dashboards, and ROI measures for strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance to translate operational metrics into financial insights.
• Assess risks/opportunities and present recommendations to senior leadership.
