Job summary

Department of State in Charleston, SC seeks an ICB Process Analyst to perform accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting support across treasury processes. The role requires strong Excel skills and experience with DoS financial policies and procedures.

This is a 100% on-site position with standard 8-hour shifts. Applicants must be able to obtain Secret clearance and have experience with enterprise accounting systems, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced government environment with

Qualifications

Experience supporting enterprise accounting and financial systems.
Ability to analyze complex requirements and evaluate a wide range of systems and related financial issues.
Experience designing, implementing, and testing accounting/financial management systems.
Strong organization and time management with competing priorities.
Current knowledge or ability to learn DoS accounting policies and Treasury reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

Reconcile payments and collections through various channels (IPAC, CIR, PMS, etc.).
Perform daily Cash Receipts posting and reconciliation.
Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
Research discrepancies and coordinate with bureau/vendors for resolution.
Provide user support and prepare process documentation.
