Job summary

Johnson Bixby in the SW Washington/Portland area offers a paid internship where you’ll learn to support client services, planners, investment and accounting teams while you develop professional finance skills.

You’ll participate in meetings, complete basic data entry and research, observe experienced professionals, and gain real-world experience in financial planning and client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in related field.
• Some related experience, internship, and/or training in a business environment.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Computer experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Strong communication skills in writing and speaking with clients and team members.
• Ability to work at a sustained pace while producing quality work.
• Ability to respond to inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, or business community.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to client services, planner, investment, accounting, and administrative teams.
• Learn processes and procedures of the Client Services Department.
• Perform basic data entry and research for departmental projects.
• Work with client service team members to ensure a smooth client experience.
• Meet with professionals to expand knowledge and resources for your career.
