Alfa Insurance is seeking a FAST Analyst I to gain hands-on experience with financial systems, internal controls, reporting, security administration, and enterprise technology. You’ll help shape the accuracy of financial reporting and support users across the organization, contributing to Alfa’s accounting and PeopleSoft environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or MIS.
• 1‑year related experience.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Experience with systems development preferred.
• Proficient in Excel; PC skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory accounting principles.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Visual Basic and SQL experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate accounting data.
• Manage chartfields and PeopleSoft trees for general ledger transactions.
• Create, maintain and produce financial reports with GAAP and Statutory principles.
• Provide functional support for PeopleSoft modules and translate user needs.
• Maintain PeopleSoft security profiles and assist with security administration.
