Alfa Insurance Corporate Careers is seeking a FAST Analyst I in Alabama to support financial reporting, internal controls, and PeopleSoft operations. You will help ensure accuracy of financial data and enable users across the organization to use and access finance systems effectively.

The role emphasizes analytical detail, collaboration with IT and accounting teams, and ongoing improvement of reporting and analytics in a dynamic insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or MIS.
• 1 year of related experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in systems development preferred.
• Good project leadership skills.
• Proficient PC skills with Excel.
• Visual Basic programming and SQL proficiency preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with internal controls, governance, and financial accuracy.
• Maintain chartfields and PeopleSoft trees for accounting classification.
• Create, maintain and produce GAAP and statutory financial reports.
• Provide functional support for PeopleSoft modules and translate needs into features.
• Maintain and execute security profiles for PeopleSoft.
