Job summary

Dominguez Chiropractic seeks a Finance Manager who will own day-to-day accounting across ten locations, including AP, AR, purchasing, month-end close, and financial reporting. This hands-on role partners with an outside accounting firm and reports to the Owner.

The successful candidate will manage cash flow, variances, and budgeting, while building scalable processes for multi-site financial operations in a healthcare setting. CPA/CMA encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting or finance experience with direct ownership of AP/AR.
• Demonstrated experience owning a month-end close cycle from start to finish.
• Strong bank, credit card and merchant account reconciliation skills.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Proficiency with general ledger systems and adaptability to new software.
• Ability to work across multiple entities or locations independently.
• Clear written and verbal communication with non-finance stakeholders.
• Discretion handling confidential financial and personnel information.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounts payable cycle across ten locations, from invoice receipt to payment.
• Own accounts receivable, including patient balances and insurance receipts.
• Lead month-end close and produce monthly financial statements by location.
• Prepare and maintain budgets, dashboards, and variance analyses.
• Coordinate with external accounting partner for forecasting and tax planning.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and restrictive access controls.
• Ensure accurate vendor master data and contract/price documentation.
• Provide timely financial reporting to ownership and location managers.
