Job summary

Delan Associates, Inc. seeks a Financial Technology Manager (Finance Oracle Fusion Consultant) to sit within the IT organization and serve as the key liaison between IT and Finance during the ERP transformation from SAP to Oracle Fusion Finance modules, translating finance needs into technical solutions.

The candidate will partner with Finance leadership, lead a small team, manage stakeholder expectations, work with IT teams and implementation partners, and keep the Oracle Fusion rollout moving

Qualifications

• 3+ years of team leadership experience.
• Oracle Fusion Financial Modules with at least 3 years experience.
• Completed end-to-end Oracle Fusion ERP implementation in finance.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Serve as the key liaison between IT and Finance
• Play a critical role in ERP transformation as the organization transitions from SAP to Oracle Fusion
• Partner closely with Finance leadership and understand business requirements
• Translate Finance needs into technical solutions
• Work with IT teams, integrations, and implementation partners
• Set realistic expectations around what can and cannot be done within the system
• Be the face of the ERP implementation between IT and Finance
• Manage challenging Finance stakeholders and professionally push back when needed
• Lead a team of 4 direct reports to start (team may evolve over time)

Top Technical Requirements (Minimum Years of Experience)

• Oracle Fusion Financial Modules experience (at least 3 years)
• Completed at least one end-to-end Oracle Fusion ERP implementation (specifically within the finance modules) (SAP à Oracle Fusion)
• Strong techno-functional capability (technical enough to work with IT/integrations/partners and functional enough to partner with Finance leadership)

Soft Skills (What personality characteristics or management style must candidates possess?)

• 3+ years of team leadership experience (coach, mentor, help teams)
• Thick skin; ability to professionally push back when needed
• Strong communication skills and executive presence
• Ability to partner with both IT and Finance stakeholders
