LuxBrush Painting Co. and Affiliated Companies is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to join a growing finance team in Vermont.

You’ll manage accounts payable, assist payroll, and support month-end close across multiple entities with a focus on automating processes. The role emphasizes cross-entity accounting, process improvement, and involvement in automation tools, while ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in accounts payable, bookkeeping, payroll support, or staff accounting
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and how transactions flow to financial statements
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or comparable software
• Excellent spreadsheet skills (lookups, pivot tables) and clean exports
• Attention to detail to catch small discrepancies and ensure accuracy

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable across entities, code/vendor bills, obtain approvals, and prepare payments
• Support payroll by gathering hours, deductions, and changes; reconcile payroll reports
• Perform month-end close tasks including reconciliations and intercompany entries
• Identify process improvements and assist with automation/tool integration
• Assist with tax, audits, and month-end analyses
