DAYBREAK INC. is seeking a Finance Technician to support financial operations, maintain accurate records, and assist in preparing reports. You will collaborate with teams to ensure data integrity and assist in audits.

The role requires an associate degree in finance or related fields, at least two years of experience, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software. Attention to detail and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Experience with financial reporting and data analysis.
• Familiarity with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Previous experience working with accounting software and financial management systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Conduct regular audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting.
• Support the finance team in managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide assistance during internal and external audits.
• Perform data entry and manage financial databases with precision.
• Identify discrepancies in financial records and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial procedures and policies.
