Job summary

Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado seeks a Program Coordinator in the Finance Department. You will drive financial and administrative operations, manage budgets, reconcile accounts, process requisitions, and route contracts.

You will oversee risk management, including insurance renewals and Moody's disclosures, supervise work-study students, and support campus hiring processes. A Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, or a relevant field, or 2 years of college study with related experience.
• Core competencies: Exceptional written and verbal communication, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to handle confidential information.
• Preferred assets: Higher education background, budget oversight, and collaborative work style with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive Financial & Administrative Operations: manage budgets, reconcile accounts, process purchasing requisitions, route contracts, and payroll/accounts payable distribution.
• Oversee Risk Management & Disclosures: manage property and liability insurance renewals, claims, and Moody's reporting data.
• Lead Campus Communications & Workstudy Supervision: maintain finance webpages, track fiscal notes, supervise work-study students, support departmental hiring processes.
