Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting, finance, or controllership experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and ERP applications.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and business partnership skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and key performance metrics.
• Monitor account performance against budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes in accordance with company policies and deadlines.
• Develop annual operating budgets and assist with long-range financial planning.
• Prepare regular financial presentations and reports for account leadership and client review meetings.
• Provide recommendations to improve profitability, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage forecasting processes, including labor, materials, subcontractor, and operating expense projections.
• Monitor labor costs and productivity metrics to ensure alignment with budget expectations.
• Track capital expenditures and assist in developing business cases for facilities investments.
• Analyze trends and develop financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee invoice processing and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Review procurement activities for compliance with contractual and company requirements.
• Support client billing processes and monitor accounts receivable balances.
• Reconcile financial transactions and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, audit requirements, and internal controls.
• Conduct financial reviews and audits of operational processes and transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Ensure adherence to client contract requirements and financial obligations.
• Partner closely with Facilities Directors, Operations Managers, and campus leadership to support business objectives.
• Provide financial analysis related to staffing, maintenance programs, projects, and operational initiatives.
• Assist leadership teams in evaluating service enhancements, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.
• Translate financial information into actionable recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.
• Utilize financial systems and reporting tools to provide actionable business insights.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting metrics.
• Analyze trends related to labor utilization, work order management, maintenance costs, inventory, and subcontracted services.
• Support strategic planning initiatives through data-driven financial analysis.
