Job summary

Aramark Destinations is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee the Southwest District, partnering with GMs and leaders to manage forecasting, budgeting, labor and inventory controls, and audit readiness. The role emphasizes strong internal controls and cross-team collaboration.

The successful candidate will manage finance professionals, ensure accurate reporting (daily/weekly, month-end close, forecasts), and support tax/compliance tasks across assigned properties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and comfort with new accounting/finance systems.
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to partner with non-finance teams to drive financial results.

Responsibilities

• Partner with General Managers and business leaders to identify financial risks and opportunities and drive financial outcomes.
• Manage finance professionals; provide direction, training, and succession planning.
• Oversee month-end close, forecasting, CAPEX planning, accounts payable/receivable, cash & banking, and compliance tasks.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors; support SOX compliance.
